JUSTICE M.I.ARUN ORAL ORDER On the ground that the property of the petitioner has been acquired and a fair compensation has not been paid to her, the present petition is filed with the following prayers: "a) Issue writ of mandamus directing the respondent to ensure the immediate intervention of fair compensation as stated RFCTLARR act for item number 38 in Annexure A, Issued by BBMP No. BBMP/C.comm/PSR(G)/360/2023-24 on 15-03-2024 & News Paper Publication 12-06-2024 b) Direct the Respondent to record the current guideline value of property as per Annexure-J to rectify the procedural lapses in determining the market value of the property as per the provisions of section 25 of the RFCTLARR Act. - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:15299 WP No. 5131 of 2025 c) Grant such other reliefs as deemed fit by this Hon'ble Court in the interest of justice and equity." 2. The Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 itself envisages that in case of acquisition of a property the forum to which the petitioner has to approach if she is not satisfied with the compensation awarded. The question of issuing any directions in a writ petition does not arise. 3. For the aforementioned reason, the writ petition is hereby dismissed reserving the liberty to the petitioner to approach the appropriate forum and work out her remedies in accordance with law.
