The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking following reliefs:- “10.1 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue appropriate direction to respondent authority to consider pending application for consideration of claim of petitioner for granting compassionate appointment in 05 vacant post or vacant post available in other District according to above prevalent policy with all consequential benefits, within stipulate time, in the interest of justice. 2 10.2 That, the letter P-8 regarding non-availability of post and to give consent for class iv post may be held illegal. 10.3 Any other relief which may be suitable in the facts and circumstances of the case, may also be granted.” 2. At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he is not pressing this writ petition on merits and is only seeking direction to the Respondents No. 3 & 4 to take decision on the representation dated 04.01.2026 submitted by the petitioner at the earliest within specified time. 3. On the other hand, learned counsel for the Respondents/State would submit that as petitioner is not pressing this writ petition on merits and is only seeking a direction to the Respondents No. 3 & 4 to take decision on the representation dated 04.01.2026, he is having no objection to the limited prayer. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the documents placed on record. 5. On due consideration of the submission of counsel for the respective parties, facts and circumstances of the case, nature of grievance raised by the petitioner, without entering into merits of the case, this writ petition at this stage is disposed of directing the Respondents No. 3 & 4 to take decision on the representation dated 04.01.2026 on its own merits in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a period of 03 months from the date of receipt of representation. 6.
