The petitioner is an accused in connection with Lalpur P.S. Case No. 244 of 2025. It has been alleged that the informant had continuously received on his mobile threatening messages demanding an amount of Rs. 10 crores. The petitioner appears to have been implicated on confession of co-accused namely, Md. Murshid, consequent to which the petitioner has also confessed. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that save and except the confessional statement, there is no other material which would indicate the culpability of the petitioner in the said offence. He further submits that the petitioner is in custody since 30.10.2025. Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner and has submitted that the petitioner has got criminal antecedent. Regard being had to the manner of implication of the petitioner, the petitioner above named is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned J.M. 1st class, Ranchi in connection with Lalpur P.S.
