Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 20.01.2025 in connection with Jaldega P.S. Case No.09 of 2025 corresponding to G.R. No. 78/2025, subsequently S.T. No.36/2025, registered under Section 64(1) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, now pending in the court of learned Additional Sessions Judge – I, Simdega. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though there are serious allegations against the petitioner but the sister of the victim girl has deposed that had the petitioner given some money, the case would not have been lodged. 4. The learned counsel for the opposite party has opposed the prayer and submitted that there are direct allegations against the petitioner and by no stretch of imagination, the offence is compoundable. 5. Considering the seriousness of allegation against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Hence, this bail application is rejected. 6.
