The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Chandwa P.S. Case No. 115 of 2025 corresponding to NDPS Case No.26 of 2025, registered for the offence under Sections 20(b)(ii)(B), 25, 29 and 30 of the NDPS Act, pending in the court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-I, Latehar. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner’s name has come on the confessional statement of the co-accused and the petitioner is having no criminal antecedent as disclosed in para 19 of the petition. He next submits that allegations are made against entire village of doing the business of contraband. He further submits that one of the co-accused has been granted anticipatory bail in A.B.A. No.7436 of 2025. 4. Learned counsel appearing for the State has opposed the prayer and submits that the allegations are there of indulging in the business of contraband and the name of the petitioner has come on confessional statement. 5. Considering that the name of the petitioner has come on the confessional statement and petitioner is having no criminal antecedent as disclosed in para 19 of the petition and the co-accused has been granted anticipatory bail in the aforesaid A.B.A. and in that 2026:JHHC:13113 view of the matter, the petitioner, named above, I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 6. Accordingly, the above-named petitioner is directed to surrender before the learned Court within two weeks from today and in the event of his arrest or surrender, he shall be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-I, Latehar, in connection with Chandwa P.S. Case No. 115 of 2025 corresponding to NDPS Case No.26 of 2025, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023. (Sanjay Kumar Dwivedi, J.)
