Mallik, learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner and Mr. P.P. Behera, learned Addl. Standing Counsel appearing for the Opp. Parties. 3. This application has been filed seeking review of order dtd.16.12.2025. 4. It is contended that Petitioner though was found eligible to get the benefit of promotion in the DPC held on 13.11.2018, but on the face of availability of vacancy as against the post of Assistant Conservator of Forest in OFS Group-A (JB), 5 of the recommended candidates so recommended by the DPC in its proceeding dtd.13.11.2018, were given the benefit of promotion on ad hoc basis vide notification dtd.31.12.2018 and Petitioner was promoted along with 3 (three) others vide notification dtd.18.01.2019 under Annexure-3. 5. Since Petitioner’s name was recommended by the DPC in its proceeding dtd.13.11.2018 and he was appointed subsequently vide Page 2 of 2. notification dtd.18.01.2019, he raised the claim to get the benefit of promotion from the date such benefit was extended in favour of 5 nos. of recommended candidates vide notification dtd.31.12.2018 and such a claim was recommended by the Chief Conservator of Forest under Annexure-4. 6. It is also contended that even though a stand was taken that claim of the petitioner has already been rejected, but no such rejection is enclosed to the instruction basing on which the writ petition was disposed of vide order dtd.16.12.2025. 7. Learned Addl. Standing Counsel also fairly contended that claim of the Petitioner has not yet been rejected and it is liable to be rejected. 8. Having heard learned counsel appearing for the Parties and considering the submission made, this Court is inclined to review order dtd.16.12.2025. While reviewing the said order, this Court restore the writ petition to its file. 9. The Review Petition accordingly stands disposed of. (BIRAJA PRASANNA SATAPATHY) Judge Sneha
