1. The grievance of the petitioner is directed against non-payment of compensation in respect of high tension line which has been drawn over the land belonging to the petitioner on behalf of the WBSETCL. It is submitted on behalf of WBSETCL that they have no objection if the representation of the petitioner is considered by the concerned authorities in accordance with law.
2. In view of the above, WPA/15624/2025 stand disposed of by directing the Managing Director, West Bengal State Electricity Transmission
2 Company Limited being the respondent no. 2 to nominate a competent and authorized employee to consider the claim of compensation made by the petitioner dated 28th May, 2025.
3. It is made clear that there has been no adjudicationon the merits of the case and all questions are left open to be decided in accordance with law.
4. It is expected that the nominee so appointed shall consider and dispose of the representation within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order.
5. Since no affidavit has been filed the allegations contained in the petition are not admitted.
