1. Report submitted in Court be taken on record.
2. Report states that, on November 25, 2025 a petition was received from the victim wherein she sought protection. She stated that, she was residing in a live-in relationship with the respondent no.7. A copy of the petition dated November 25, 2025 of the victim is annexed to the report.
3. Police also received a complaint dated December 21, 2025 from the brother of the petitioner herein alleging that the victim went missing from her residence.
4. On the basis of such complaint, police initiated Patashpur Police Station Case No.616/25 dated December 21, 2025 under Sections 140(3)/3(5) of BNS.
5. In course of the investigation, the Investigating Officer received a video through a WhatsApp
2 mobile on his official WhatsApp number sent by the victim.
6. In such video she stated that, she left her parental home on November 12, 2025 with respondent no.7 due to the love relationship.
7. The video was downloaded in a pen drive and submitted in Court.
8. The contents of the video was played in Court for the learned Counsel to view.
9. Learned Advocate-on-record for the petitioner identified the lady in the video to be that of the victim.
10. In such video, the victim reiterated that she is an adult and that she is in a live-in relationship with the respondent no.7.
11. In such circumstances, no order need be passed in the present writ of habeas corpus.
12. WPA (H) 108 of 2025 is disposed of without any order as to costs.
