JUSTICE R DEVDAS ORAL ORDER Learned Additional Government Advocate takes notice for all the respondents. 2. It is the contention of the petitioner that the petitioner along with his father made an application under Section 94A of the Karnataka Land Revenue Act, in the year 1999 seeking regularisation of unauthorised occupation of 1 acre 30 guntas of land in Survey No.73, Block No.II, situated at Karim Sonnenahalli, Madure Hobli, - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:7792 WP No. 29531 of 2025 Doddaballapura Taluk. The Committee passed a resolution on 13.2.2012 recommending grant of the lands in favour of the petitioner, as found at Annexure-C. In spite of it, the Tahsildar failed to issue Saguvali chit. The petitioner gave representation on 13.12.2022, but the same was not considered by the Tahsildar. It is contended that the petitioner is ready and willing to pay the kimmat, but the respondents have not issued any information or notice to the petitioner calling upon the petitioner to pay the kimmat. 3. Having regard to the contentions raised by the petitioner, the writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2-Tahsildar, Doddaballapur Taluk, Bengaluru Rural District, to verify from the records as to whether such an application was filed by the petitioner and whether the Committee has passed a resolution on 13.2.2012 resolving to grant 1 acre 30 guntas of land in favour of the petitioner. If the said facts are true, then the Tahsildar shall proceed to issue - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:7792 WP No. 29531 of 2025 saguvali chit in favour of the petitioner within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Thereafter, the Tahsildar shall inform the petitioner regarding the payment of kimmat and proceed to collect the same. Subsequently, the Tahsildar shall proceed to enter the name of the petitioner in the revenue records in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date on which the petitioner pays the kimmat. 4.
