This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed invoking the jurisdiction of this Court under Section 482 of the Cr.P.C. with the prayer to direct the Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Rajmahal, Sahibganj, to either drop the proceedings under Section 145 of Cr.P.C. or to expedite and conclude the same within one month from the date of passing order in this case in (2026:JHHC:603) 2 Cr. M.P. No.112 of 2020 connection with Criminal Misc. Case No. 516/2006, pending before Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Rajmahal, Sahibganj. 3. Learned Addl.P.P. appearing for the State and the learned counsel for the Opposite Party No. 2 submit that no timeframe can be fixed for disposal of any proceeding under Section 145 of Cr.P.C., because of it being a quasi-judicial proceeding. Learned counsel for the Opposite Party No. 2 further submits that it is because of the petitioners that the case is getting delayed as the petitioners are not co-operating with the disposal of the case. 4. Considering the aforesaid facts, this Cr.M.P. is disposed of with the direction that the Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Rajmahal, Sahibganj will take up the proceeding of the case expeditiously. 5.
