This criminal writ petition has been filed by petitioner seeking protection from the private respondent Nos.5 to 13 as she is apprehending danger to her life and property at the hands of private respondents. 4. Petitioner is present in person and she has been duly identified by her counsel. Under her instructions, learned counsel submits that petitioner is a widow lady, aged about 59 years. It is submitted that there is dispute between her son and daughter-in- law and several proceedings are pending between them. Learned counsel contends that in-laws of son of petitioner are giving threatening to the petitioner and want to dispossess her from her own property. It is contended that several representations have been submitted to the police authorities but no heed has been paid to the grievance of the petitioner. It is contended that in these circumstances, at least, concerned SHO may be directed to ensure that no harm is caused to the life and property of the [2026:RJ-JP:11919] (3 of 3) [CRLW-1710/2025] petitioner, particularly looking to the fact that petitioner is old aged widow lady. 5. In view of the above factual averments, petitioner is directed to file appropriate application seeking protection before respondent No.4-Station House Officer, Police Station Jhotwara, Jaipur (West), Rajasthan and respondent no.4 is directed to provide protection to the petitioner, if any application is filed before him and he would ensure that no harm is caused to the life and property of the petitioner. 6. The criminal writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of. 7. Stay application and pending application(s), if any, stand disposed of. 8.
