The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Mandar P.S. Case No.48 of 2023 for the alleged offences registered under Section 392 of Indian Penal Code, pending in the Court of learned J.M., Ranchi. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the name of the petitioner has come on the confessional statement of another co-accused Abutalib Mallick. He further submits that in identical situation co-accused persons have already been granted anticipatory bail in ABA No.5059 of 2023 and 101 of 2024. 4. Learned counsel appearing for the State opposed the prayer and submits that serious allegations are there and the case is registered under Section 392 of Indian Penal Code. 5. Considering that the petitioner is not named in the FIR and 2026:JHHC:9460 --2-- A.B.A. No. 1196 of 2026 the name of the petitioner has come on the confessional statement of co-accused and in identical situation co-accused persons have already been granted anticipatory bail in the aforesaid ABAs and in that view of the matter the petitioner is directed to surrender before the learned Court within two weeks and the learned Court shall release the petitioner on such terms and conditions or the sureties as the learned Court may deem fit and proper.
