The petitioner is an accused in connection with Chandrapura PS Case No. 81/2025. The daughter of the informant was subjected to torture by her husband and in-laws and she died in her matrimonial house in unnatural circumstances. Submission has been advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the cause of death as per the post-mortem report is suspected poisoning. It has further been submitted that the bona fide of the petitioner is evident from the fact that the petitioner had informed his in- laws about the incident and had also taken the deceased to the hospital. Learned counsel adds that marriage of the petitioner was solemnized with the deceased about five years back and no complaint has been made against the petitioner during this period. It has been submitted that the petitioner is in custody since 20.08.2025. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner. Regard being had to the aforesaid facts, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Addl.
