04/ 07.01.2026: The matter relates to payment of family pension and arrears. As the family pension and arrears were not been paid, the petitioner is forced to approached this Court.
2. Today, during course of argument, the Ranchi University has handed over a Memo bearing No.PEN/702/26 dated 03.01.2026, whereby they have instructed the Punjab National Bank to credit an amount of Rs.8,51,109/- as arrears of pension from January 2021 onwards. Further, in the counter affidavit which has been filed today in the Court, it has been mentioned that the regular pension will start from January 2026.
3. Considering the said submission and the documents which has been handed over to this Court, I am of the opinion the grievance of
the petitioner has been redressed. If the petitioner has any further grievance inspite of this, it will be open to the petitioner to approach the appropriate forum.
4. With the aforesaid observation, the instant writ petition stands
disposed of.
