JUSTICE SANJEEV KUMAR SHARMA ORDER 22.06.2026 Heard Mr. F. Hussain, learned counsel for the petitioners. Also heard Mr. R.R. Kaushik, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. 2. This is an application under Section 483 of BNSS, 2023, for release on bail of the accused/petitioners who were arrested on 14.05.2026 in connection with Uluani P.S. Case No. 27/2026, under Section 310(4) of BNS, 2023. 3. An FIR was lodged by one police personnel at Sullung Police Patrol Post, Nagaon District, alleging that the petitioners were found behaving suspicious near a toll gate and they were in a Bolero vehicle and the police searched the vehicle and recovered certain articles like steel pipe, dao, knife, etc. As per the said FIR, it transpires that the said persons were preparing to commit dacoity by targeting cattle transportation vehicles. One of the persons present had managed to escape. 4. The petitioners pursuant to their arrest have already spent around 40 days behind bars and having regard to the nature of allegations, further detention of the petitioners is not considered necessary. 5. Accordingly, the prayer for bail is allowed. Page No.# 3/3 6. The petitioners shall be released on bail on furnishing a bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- each with two sureties each of like amount to the satisfaction of the learned SDJM, Kaliabor, Nagaon. It is further provided that the petitioners shall cooperate with the investigation as and when called for and shall not try to tamper with the evidence or influence the witnesses in any manner. 7.
