The instant application has been filed for impleadment of Dr. Drashnendra Singh, Chief Engineer, Border Road Task Force (BRTF), Project Pushpak GREF, C/o 99 APO as respondent No. 7 in the connected Cont. Cas (C) No. 2 of 2026. The learned counsel appearing for the applicant submits that respondent No. 2 namely, Sh. Rajeev Dua, Chief Engineer, Border Road Task Force (BRTF), Project Pushpak GREF, C/o 99 APO has retired and in his place, the new incumbent i.e. Dr. Drashnendra Singh, Chief Engineer has joined. Therefore, the learned counsel for the applicant prays that instant IA may be allowed by impleading the aforesaid Dr. Drashnendra Singh, Chief Engineer, Border Road Task Force (BRTF), Project Pushpak GREF, C/o 99 APO as respondent No. 7 in the said contempt petition.
