Mr. Digvijay Singh Bisht, learned legal aid counsel for the Appellant. 2. Mr. S.S. Chauhan, learned Deputy Advocate General assisted by Mr. Vikas Uniyal, learned Brief Holder for the State. 3. Learned counsel for the appellant submits that present matter has become infructuous as the sentence, so awarded, under conviction has been fulfilled and the appellant has been released. He further submits that nothing remains in the matter for consideration and the same may be dismissed as infructuous. 4. On the previous occasion learned State counsel was directed to place a report from Central Jail, Sitarganj, District Udham Singh Nagar regarding release of the appellant from jail on completion of his sentence. 5. In compliance of this Court’s order dated 17.02.2026 learned State counsel has produced the report dated 17.02.2026 before this Court received from Central Jail, Sitarganj, District Udham Singh Nagar. Same is taken on record. According to which appellant has been released from jail in said offence. 7. Accordingly, the criminal appeal is dismissed as infructuous.
