PATIL - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:10458-DB CCC No. 1299 of 2023 ORAL ORDER (PER: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE VIJAYKUMAR A. PATIL) 1. This contempt petition is filed alleging willful disobedience of the order dated 28.01.2019 passed in W.A.No.682/2018, wherein the learned Additional Government Advocate made a submission that the order of the learned Single Judge would be complied within two weeks. Based on such submission, the writ appeal was disposed of. The learned Single Judge has passed the following order; "5. In view of the above, I make the following order; The impugned order dtd. 09.08.1995 insofar as it relates to cancellation of the lands granted to the petitioner's husband in W.P.No.8721/2012 and to the petitioner in W.P. No.11398/2012 is set aside as it was not preceded by any notice to the grantees. However, this order will not come in the way of the statutory authorities to initiate any action in the matter, in accordance with law. The writ petitions stand disposed of in the above terms. In view of disposal of the writ petitions, I.A. No.1/2014 - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:10458-DB CCC No. 1299 of 2023 filed in both the writ petitions do not survive for consideration; they stand disposed of accordingly. Petitions disposed of." 2. The accused has filed an affidavit of the Special Deputy Commissioner, Bengaluru North Division, Bengaluru indicating that the Authority has passed a detailed order on 09.09.2024 which is produced as Annexure-R1. 3. In view of the said order, in our view, there is compliance of the directions. The contempt proceedings are dropped. 4. Notice issued to the accused shall stand discharged. 5.
