Mr. Pushpinder Jaswal, learned Additional Advocate General, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents-State. 2. By way of this petition, the petitioner has, inter alia, prayed for the following relief:- “I. That the impugned order dated 30.03.2026 may kindly be quashed and set aside and the petitioner may kindly be allowed to continue at present place of posting or at Chial Chowk where the post is vacant.” 3. The grievance of the petitioner is that in terms of the impugned transfer order, she stands transferred ignoring the fact that she is to superannuate in the month of October, 2027. 4. Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that there are other stations to which the petitioner can be transferred which are convenient to her. In light of this fact, this petition, as prayed for, is disposed of with the direction that the petitioner shall approach the Authorities for her adjustment at some other station(s) by way of a representation within two weeks from today and appropriate call be taken thereupon within two weeks as from the date of receipt of the representation. Endeavour be made by the Authorities to adjust the petitioner at a station of her convenient or a station nearer to the station of her choice in light of the fact that she is to superannuate in less than two years. Till decision is not taken on the representation of the petitioner, she shall not be forced to join the station to which she stands transferred and she can avail the kind of leave due to her.
