Despite service, the private respondent remains unrepresented. Significantly the postal endorsement records that the private respondent has refused service. The grievance of the petitioner is directed against the refusal of the respondent CESC Limited from providing a separate electricity connection to the premises of the petitioner being situated at Flat No. 2B, Sanjog Tower, Ho Chi Min Sarani, Sarsuna, Kolkata-700 061. On behalf of the respondent CESC Limited, it is submitted that there are private civil disputes between the petitioner and the landlord. Hence, CESC Limited is being prevented from providing an electricity connection at the subject premises. 2 In view of the above, WPA 27733 of 2025 stands disposed of by directing the local police authorities to give police assistance to CESC Limited in carrying out their function. Any cost incurred for the above exercise is to be bound by the petitioner. It is needless to mention that the petitioner is bound to comply with all statutory and prescribed formalities and compliances. (RAVI KRISHAN KAPUR, J.)
