Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case and has not committed any offence as alleged in the F.I.R. The petitioner was allegedly arrested while loading bovine meat in one of three intercepted trucks. The petitioner is neither the driver nor the owner of any of the said trucks from which three tons of bovine meat was recovered. Co-accused Md. Kadir, who was driver of one of the trucks, was also apprehended from the spot while allegedly loading bovine meat on the trucks, has already been granted regular bail by a Bench of this Court vide order dated 18.03.2026 passed in B.A. No. 2175 of 2026. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent as has been stated in paragraph-22 of the present bail application. The petitioner is in judicial custody in connection with the present since 30.10.2025 and hence, he may be given the privilege of regular bail. 2026:JHHC:7837 - 2 - 3. Learned A.P.P. opposes the petitioner’s prayer for regular bail. 4. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the materials available on record, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. 5. Accordingly, the petitioner above named is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate, Ranchi in connection with Lower Bazar P.S.
