The petitioner’s land has been acquired under the National Highways Act, 1956. An arbitration has been initiated by the first respondent under Section 3G(5) of National Highways Act, 1956. The petitioner seeks for early disposal of the said application by the first respondent. 3. Accordingly, this Court directs the first respondent to pass an award as per the provisions of Section 3G(5) of National Highways Act, 1956 on the petitioner’s application, dated 21.02.2017 by adhering to the principles of natural justice within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6. With the aforesaid direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
