An innocuous prayer is made in this petition i.e. to direct the respondent no.2 to take a decision on the representation made by the petitioners dated 13.02.2026 praying for enhancement of compensation. 3. It is submitted that till date there is no decision, despite reasonable time period has lapsed. 4. In the circumstances, without going into the merits of the matter and also the entitlement of the petitioners on merits, we direct the respondent no.2-The Chief General Manager, Western Coalfields Limited, Majri at Post Kuchana, Tah. Bhadravati, District Chandrapur, to decide the representation of the petitioners dated 13.02.2026 within a period of six weeks from the date of furnishing copy of this order along with the representation dated 13.02.2026. Decision thereupon shall be communicated to the petitioners within a period of two weeks from the date of such decision. 5. With these directions, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
