The petitioners are aggrieved by the action of respondent No.2 in trying to dispossess the petitioners from the small road-side tea stall being run by them. 2. It is submitted that the petitioners had earlier filed W.P.No.18520 of 2018 and that this Court, vide order dated 05.06.2018, disposed off the said writ petition, directing the respondents therein to follow due process of law if the subject property is required for a public purpose. 3. It is submitted that, though there is an order of this Court, the respondents have been orally directing the petitioners to vacate the said shop. 4. The learned Standing counsel appearing for respondent No.2, on receipt of written instructions, submits that respondent No.2 has identified vending zones for accommodating eligible street vendors and that the petitioners and other similarly situated vendors have been informed that they may carry on their business activities in the designated vending zones in accordance with the applicable rules and regulations. 5. The learned Standing counsel appearing for respondent No.2 further submits that the petitioners have occupied Irrigation land and that the said occupation is causing hindrance to the movement of traffic as well. 6. Recording the above submissions, the present writ petition stands disposed off, making it clear to respondent No.2 that the petitioners shall be accommodated in an alternative vending zone area and that 15 days’ time 4 HN, J W.P.No.24416_2026 shall be granted to the petitioner to shift from the existing shop in which they are carrying on their business. There shall be no order as to costs.
