The petitioner is an accused in connection with Mohanpur P.S. Case No. 257 of 2025 pending in the Court of learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Deoghar. It has been alleged that the informant was kidnapped by the accused persons and a demand of ransom of Rupees Nine Lakh was made from his wife. Police had ultimately rescued the informant. It appears that the informant had identified four persons including the petitioner as the miscreants involved in kidnapping. Regard being had to the specific nature of allegation levelled against the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner and the same is hereby rejected. (Rongon Mukhopadhyay, J.)
