JUSTICE M.NAGAPRASANNA ORAL ORDER The petitioner is before this Court seeking the following prayers: (a) To direct the Hon'ble XI Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate at Bengaluru to dispose/conclude the proceedings in C.C.No.32717/2022 for the alleged offence punishable under Section 498(A), 323, 326, 504, 506, 354(A)(4) read with Section 34 of Indian Penal Code and Section 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, in time bound manner or expeditiously as early as possible at any rate within a period of 03 months vide at Annexure-C, to meet the cannon of justice. (b) To issue any other order or direction that, this Hon'ble Court deems fit to grant in the circumstances of the case, with costs, to meet the cannon of justice." 2. Heard Sri. Ashok Babu, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Sri. K. Nageshwarappa, learned High Court Government Pleader appearing for respondent No.1. 3. The petitioner is accused No.3. The second respondent is the complainant, who registers a complaint and the Police filed a charge sheet in C.C.No.32717/2022 for - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:7505 CRL.P No. 988 of 2026 offences punishable under Sections 498A, 326, 354(A)(4), 504, 506, 34 of the the Indian Penal Code, 1860 ('the IPC' for short) and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961. The petitioner has produced the entire order sheet that is maintained before the concerned Court to demonstrate that there is only been adjournments, as the complainant is not appearing before the Court, at all. Therefore, seeks a speedy disposal of the said proceeding, in accordance with the law. 4. In the said light and the prayer being innocuous, I deem it appropriate to direct the concerned Court to dispose of the subject crime, within an outer limit of 9 months from the date of receipt of copy of this order, if not earlier, in accordance with the law.
