Counsel for the Petitioner: R SIVA SAI SWARUP Counsel for the Respondents: The Court made the following order: 3 THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE BATTU DEVANAND CIVIL REVISION PETITION NO: 2226 OF 2026 ORDER: This Civil Revision Petition has been filed aggrieved by non-disposal of O.S.No.42 of 2021 on the file of Principal Civil Judge (Senior Division), Visakhapatnam. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that O.S.No.42 of 2021 was filed by the respondents herein before Principal Senior Civil Judge, Visakhapatnam. The learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the petitioner who is the defendant in the suit aged about 63 years and the respondents who are the plaintiffs in the suit aged 60 years and 88 years respectively. Hence, the learned counsel contends that considering the advanced age of the parties of the suit, they are entitled for expeditious disposal of the suit. 3. This Court accepted the contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner. 4. Admittedly, the parties to the suit on both sides are senior citizens aged above 60 years. This High Court both on administrative and judicial sides, has issued instructions and passed orders for the expeditious disposal of the cases in which senior citizens are parties. 4 5. In view of the same, in our considered view, this Civil Revision Petition can be disposed of with certain directions to the Principal Senior Civil Judge, Visakhapatnam to meet the interest of justice. 6. Accordingly, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of with a direction to the Principal Senior Civil Judge, Visakhapatnam to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.42 of 2021, pending on the file of the Principal Senior Civil Judge’s Court, Visakhapatnam, as expeditiously as possible, by following due process of law. 7. There shall be no order as to costs.
