GP FOR FINANCE PLANNING The Court made the following: 4 Order:- The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was entrusted with the works i.e 1) Rs. 84,523/- vide Agreement No. 152/2018-19 for Providing Toilet to Moulana Abdul Kalam Azad Library near Gadiyaram Hospital in Ward No. 2, 2) Rs. 85,219/- for Providing of Art painting with figures and designs for anganwadi pre school in Khadakpura in Ward No. 12 3) Rs. 83,000/- vide Agreement No. 25/2013-14 for Dismantling Old Toilet RCC slab and Removal of septic tank and brick masonry walls at Kummari geri toilet ward no. 13, 4) Rs. 38,275/- vide agreement no. 262/2014-15 for Providing paints to Public Toilet at Kummari geri pubic toilet for gents in ward no. 13 5) Rs. 53,004/- vide Agreement No. 22/2012-13 for Providing of 110mm dia PVC pipe line and CC patches D.No. 20/19 at Bandimetta area 6) Rs. 88,166/- vide Agreement No. 609/2017-18 for the work of Completion of Balance reparis work-Providing RR Connection channel from toilet outlets to septic tanks to public toilets Bandimetta ward no. 3, 7) Rs. 53,103/- vide Agreement No. 542/2017-18 for the work of Repairs works to public toilets Gents Bandimetta providing brick masonry manhole to outlet channels ward no. 3, for the above (07) works was sanction under General Funds under Kurnool Municipal Corporation. 2. It is submitted that the petitioner had completed the works entrusted to him and that the competent authority of the respondents had also approved the payments due and payable to the petitioner. 5 3. Heard the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Government Pleader for Municipal Administration and Urban Development Department, Sri P.Vengala Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for the respondent Corporation and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Finance and Planning. 4. During the course of hearing, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent Corporation submits that the works have been completed and that the petitioner has also submitted the final bills and the amounts due and payable to the petitioner have been duly admitted. It is submitted that further funds are awaited and that, soon after the release of the funds, the bills due and payable to the petitioner shall be cleared. 5. Recording the submissions, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage, directing the respondents to verify and release the payments due and payable to the petitioner as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six (06) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs. 6.
