Learned counsel appearing for the parties would submit that the issue involved in this petition has already been adjudicated by this Court on 04.07.2025 in WPS No. 1360 of 2019 and other connected matters, therefore, they pray that the present petition may also be
disposed of in terms of the said order.
2. This Court, while deciding WPS No.1360 of 2019 and other connected matters vide order dated 04.07.2025 held in paragraph 2 & 3 as under:
“2. In these petitions the petitioners were appointed on the post of Lower Division Teacher, subsequently, they were promoted to the post of Upper Division Teacher in their respective Districts. Thereafter, they were promoted to the post of Head Master in their respective Division, but petitioners are seeking their seniority/promotion compairing themselves from the teachers of other Districts/Divisions but they are not able to show any rule with respect to promotion of teachers of one District/Division can be compared from the teachers of other Districts/Divisions, whereas, as per reply submitted by the respondent-State, promotions were made upto the level of Head Master as per seniority of the respective District/Division.
3. Since, the petitioners have not brought any rules/regulations before the Court to compare
3 seniority/promotion from other District/Division to get their seniority/promotion from the teachers who were appointed subsequent to them, therefore, no merit is found in the instant petitions, hence, all these petitions are liable to be dismissed and are hereby dismissed at this stage, leaving liberty to the petitioners that if they found any legal ground on their favour then they may raise their grievances by filing fresh petition/s.”
3. In view of the above submission, since the same issue has been involved in the present writ petition, therefore, it is being disposed of in terms of the order dated 04.07.2025 passed in WPS No. 1360 of 2019 and other connected matters.
