The prayer for the compassionate appointment of son of this petitioner was rejected by the CCL on the ground that a complaint case was pending before the criminal Court. 3. It is the case of the petitioner that the criminal case which was against the son of the petitioner who is seeking compassionate appointment, has been compromised. 4. Since, the matter has been compromised and son of this petitioner has not been convicted, I direct the petitioner/ son to approach before the General Manager (P&IR), C.C.L., along with the order of compromise which has arrived at in the Lok Adalat. 5. The General Manager (P&IR) will consider the case of the petitioner’s son and will pass an appropriate order, considering the order passed by the Lok Adalat in the criminal case. The decision should be taken within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If it is found that son of this petitioner is entitled for compassionate appointment, he should be appointed within a period of three weeks thereafter. 6.
