This intra Court appeal has been filed impugning the judgment and order dated 20.01.2026 passed by the learned Single Judge in W.P.No.1219/2026 (KLR-RES) filed by the appellants herein. 2. The parties are referred to as per their ranking before the writ Court, for the sake of convenience. 3. The petitioners had filed the writ petition impugning the proceedings initiated against them pursuant to a notice dated 03.12.2025 issued by the Deputy Director of Land Records, Chikkamagaluru Town and Chikkamagaluru District, under Section 49(A) of the Karnataka Land Revenue Act, 1964, in ID No.APL/0193/2025. 4. The proceedings pending before respondent No.2 cannot be said to be without jurisdiction. The learned Single Judge has observed that the petitioners are permitted to file their objections in the pending - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:13845-DB WA No. 745 of 2026 proceedings before respondent No.2 and has further directed to consider the same in accordance with law. 5. We do not find any reasons to interfere with the impugned judgment and order dated 20.01.2026 passed by the learned Single Judge, particularly, when the proceedings are not without jurisdiction. Accordingly the appeal is dismissed. 5. In view dismissal of the appeal, pending interim applications, if any do not survive for consideration, hence stand disposed of.
