The petitioner, above-named, who is in custody in connection with Special POCSO Case No.62 of 2025 (arising out of Birsa Nagar [Jamshedpur] P.S. Case No. 69 of 2025 for the offence registered under Sections 96 and 3(5) of the BNS, 2023, has prayed for regular bail. As per the prosecution case, informant is the mother of the victim-girl and as per the FIR, the victim-girl, aged about 17 years had been enticed and taken away by the petitioner on 11.08.2025 for marrying her and when she did not return, consequently the case was lodged on 28.08.2025. It is submitted by the learned counsel on behalf of petitioner that there was no inducement on the part of the petitioner rather the victim- girl was in love with the petitioner and eloped with him. Copy of the statement of the victim-girl recorded under Section 183 BNSS, 2023 has been produced before the Court, wherein, she has stated that she had married the petitioner. Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the prayer for bail. Under the circumstances, the above-named petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/-(Twenty- Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Court below.
