For direction upon the respondent no.5 & 6 for appointment of the petitioner to the post of Angan Bari Sahaika in Radipur Angan Bari Center-III pursuant to Aam Sabha dated 16.01.2025. ii. For direction upon the respondent no.3 to declare that Aam Sabha held on 16.01.2025 is valid for the post of selection of Angan Bari Sahaika to the petitioner. iii. For direction to respondent no. 6 not to convey further Aam Sabha for the post of selection of Angan Bari Sahaika of Radipur Angan Bari Center No.-III without granting the age relaxation on genuine candidature of the petitioner.” 2026:JHHC:9025 2 2. Heard learned counsel representing the petitioner and learned counsel representing the respondents. 3. It is the case of the petitioner that the respondents are not convening the meeting of “Aam Sabha” again and the post of “Anganwadi Sahayika” is vacant. It is the grievance of the petitioner that the petitioner being a divorced daughter of the village, has now crossed the upper age limit. 4. Admittedly, the petitioner has applied for the post of “Anganwadi Sahayika” in “Radipur Anganwadi Centre-III”. An “Aam Sabha” meeting was held on 16.01.2025, but the same was declared invalid because of some irregularities and was cancelled accordingly, as a result of which the post of “Anganwadi Sahayika” in “Radipur Anganwadi Centre-III” has not yet been filled up. 5. It is the duty of the respondents to fill up the said post. Thus, I direct respondent No.2 – The Deputy Commissioner, Pakur, to ensure that an “Aam Sabha” meeting be held at the earliest to fill up the vacant post of “Anganwadi Sahayika” in “Radipur Anganwadi Centre-III”, so that the benefit can be extended to the targeted group of that area. 6. It will be open to the petitioner to apply afresh for the aforesaid post. 7. With the aforesaid observation and direction, this writ petition stands disposed of.
