None appears for the respondent Office note 17/6/2026 indicates that service on the sole respondent/Tata AIG General Insurance Company has been already completed, but none appears for the respondent today. However, in the interest of justice and in order to avoid further delay the matter is taken up for hearing today. The instant application has been preferred by the applicant under Section 5 of the Limitation Act praying for condoning the delay of 156 days in fling the connected MAC appeal against the judgment and order dated 23.09.2024 passed in MAC(Injury) Case No. 01/2022 by the MACT, Dima Hasao, Haflong. The reasons for the delay has been set out at paragraph 3, 4 and 5 of the application. The court has perused the same and finds that sufficient cause has been shown by the applicant for the delay of 156 days. Accordingly, the delay of 156 days is condoned and the application is allowed. Registry shall register the appeal and list the same for admission after summer vacation. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
