According to petitioner, she purchased a piece of land situate at East Hope Town, Tehsil Vikasnagar, District Dehradun from one Mr. Niranjan Singh in 2006, however, her name is not being mutated in revenue record, even though her application is pending since 18.09.2025. 4. Learned State Counsel was asked to get instructions in the matter. On instructions, he makes a statement that the land purchased by petitioner is part of Golden Forest, regarding which litigation is pending before different courts; therefore, petitioner’s name was not mutated in the revenue record. 5. Learned counsel for the petitioner, however, disputes the said contention and submits that the land purchased by petitioner is free from all kind of litigation and there is no interim order operating qua the land purchased by petitioner. Having regard to the facts of the case, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Tehsildar, Vikasnagar to examine petitioner’s request for mutating her name in the revenue records and pass appropriate order on petitioner’s application, within four months from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order.
