ORDER (Made by Dr. ANITA SUMANTH, J.) Read this order in continuation of and in conjunction with order dated 16.03.2026 that reads as follows:- The detenue Ms.Indhu Sri is produced before this Court today. She is vehement in saying that she does not wish to go with her parents and would prefer to reside in Thai Anbalayam,Valparai Main Road, Puliyankandi Aliyar (in short ‘home’).
2. She is handed over to the District Child Welfare Committee (in short ‘CWC’) in terms of the provisions of the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015. The CWC, after verification, has suggested that the detenue may continue to reside in the aforesaid home, for the present.
3. In light of the above, the detenue will reside there until further orders of this Court. List on 23.03.2026 at 12.00 noon. The Chairman, CWC will be present on that day along with the detenue. 2/4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

2. We are given to understand that the detenue has been counselled during her stay at the home and today she expresses her willingness to go back with her parents.
3. Custody of the detenue is handed over to her parents and recording the same, this habeas corpus petition is closed. No costs.
