Petitioner has been made accused in connection with Kuchai P.S. Case No. 20 of 2023 corresponding to S.T. Case No. 72 of 2024 for the offences registered under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code and subsequently chargesheet has been submitted u/s 302/201 of the I.P.C, pending in the court of learned Principal District and Sessions Judge at Seraikella. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner very fairly conceded that on earlier occasion prayer of bail of this petitioner has been declined by this Court in B.A. No.1832 of 2025 vide order dated 06.03.2025. He further pointed out that petitioner is said to be in judicial custody since 10.07.2023. Learned counsel also submitted that custody period is the fresh ground for reconsideration of prayer of bail of the petitioner. Upon aforesaid premise, prayer for bail of the petitioner has been made. 3. Learned A.P.P. for the State has submitted that trial is on the verge of its conclusion, as such, the prayer for bail of the petitioner may be declined. 4. Heard the learned counsel for the parties and perused the materials 2026:JHHC:4833 available on record. 5. Status report has been called for from the trial court and the same has been received by this Court, wherein it reveals that all the prosecution witnesses have already been examined and it is expected that trial may be concluded within two months. The above-said report is of the month of December, 2025. 6. Considering the status of trial, which is expected to be concluded very soon, this Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner, Lakhiram Munda, on bail. 7.
