On the plea of the scheduled eye surgery of his father, the petitioner has come forward with the present petition asking for short term bail. The surgery of the father of the petitioner is scheduled to take place on ending March 2026 and 1st April 2026. 2. The petitioner has suffered rejection of bail on the same very plea and pretext from the court of Principal Sessions Judge, Shopian in terms of order dated 03.03.2026. The petitioner is implicated in a criminal case under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 alleged to be in possession of commercial quantity of the contraband. 4. This Court finds no reason to give indulgence and grant interim bail particularly when the petitioner’s other brother is very much available to take care of the responsibility of father who is going for medical surgery. 5.
