The petitioner is an accused in connection with Jainagar (TDOP) P.S. Case No. 250 of 2025. It has been alleged that the petitioner and another co-accused person had taken the informant to Banglore on the pretext of providing her a job and the petitioner had sexually exploited the informant and also snatched her money. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the complaint was lodged after one year of the first date of occurrence. He further submitted that the informant is a married lady having a child. He further submits that the nature of offence would suggest that the complainant was a consenting party to the sexual overtures made by the petitioner. The petitioner is in custody since 16.01.2026. Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner. Regard being had to the fact that the complainant appears to be a consenting party and had gone with the petitioner willingly to Banglore and the complaint having been lodged after a considerable delay, the petitioner above named is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Koderma in connection with Jainagar (TDOP) P.S.
