Mr. Bhupendra Singh Bisht, Advocate for respondent no. 3. 4. According to petitioner, he is a street vendor registered as such with Nagar Palika Parishad, Nainital. According to him, no place has been provided to him by municipal authorities for selling his merchandise. 5. By means of this writ petition, petitioner has sought the following relief:- “(i) To issue a writ, order or direction in nature of “Mandamus” directing the respondents either to provide suitable place near VIP Parking or to decide the representation of the petitioner with in a specific time framed by this Hon’ble Court; further allow the petitioner to work in the vending zone till the decision is taken upon the representation of the petitioner, “contained as Annexure No. 11” to this writ petitioner, Page No. 47, 48; and further more the petitioner is to work in the vending zone till the decision is taken upon the representation of the petitioner.” 6. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has made a representation on 11.06.2026 and the competent authority be directed to take UKHC010126322026 2026:UHC:6146 decision thereupon. 7. Learned counsel for Nagar Palika Parishad submits that he has no objection if the writ petition is disposed of in terms of the prayer made by petitioner’s counsel. 8. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of with a direction to the competent authority in Nagar Palika Parishad to take decision on the pending representation of the petitioner, as per law, within six weeks from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order.
