ORDER:
1. The present Writ Petition is filed questioning the inaction of Respondent Nos.2 and 3 in not sanctioning the study leave to the Petitioner for the period from 16.09.2019 to 15.09.2021 and in not regularizing the said period, despite the representations, dated 30.09.2021 and 02.04.2026 given by the Petitioner, as illegal and arbitrary.
2. The Petitioner was working as Medical Record Technician in Government General Hospital, Kakinada since 2003. While so, the Petitioner applied for admission into the Post Graduate Diploma in Medical Records Science (MRO) course from Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences (SVIMS), Tirupathi for the academic year 2019-2021 as an in-service candidate.
3. The Petitioner was selected to the said course and pursuant to his selection, the Petitioner was relieved vide Rc.No.522/E3/RMC/2019, dated 12.09.2019 to pursue the Post Graduate Diploma in Medical Records Science (MRO). After

completion of the said course, the Petitioner was reinstated into the service on 16.09.2021 and is continuing in the erstwhile post of Medical Record Technician. The period of study leave was not regularized, inspite of representations, dated 30.09.2021 and 02.04.2026 given by the Petitioner. Hence, Writ Petition came to be filed.
4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Services submitted that the representations given by the Petitioner would be examined and an appropriate decision would be communicated to him.
5. Heard the counsels.
6. Considering the submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of, with the following directions:- (i) The Respondent-Authorities are
directed to examine the representations, dated 30.09.2021 and 02.04.2026 given by the Petitioner and to take an appropriate decision with regard to same, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this
order.
7. No order as to costs.
