3. Petitioner has challenged an order passed by Debts Recovery Tribunal, Dehradun, which is appealable before Debts Recovery Appellate Tribunal under Section 18 of SARFAESI Act, 2002.

Learned counsel for petitioner submits that by the impugned order, petitioner has been asked to deposit rupees two lakhs, however, the time given for such deposit has now expired. He submits that time given by Debts Recovery Tribunal be extended by another four weeks so that petitioner may deposit such amount.
5. This Court is not inclined to grant such prayer to the petitioner, as it is for the Debts Recovery Tribunal to consider the request.
6. The writ petition is, accordingly,
disposed of with liberty to petitioner to

2026:UHC:6155 move application seeking extension of time. If he moves such application before Debts Recovery Tribunal within one week, Debts Recovery Tribunal shall consider the prayer within fifteen days.
7. Only for a period of fifteen days or till disposal of petitioner’s application, no coercive action shall be taken against him.
