p. 1 IN THE HIGH COURT OF ORISSA AT CUTTACK CONTC No.295 of 2026 Niranjan Sagar …. Petitioner Mr. P. Panda, Advocate -Versus- Jyotikanta Sahu, OES, District Education Officer, Baragarh …. Opposite Party Mr. S.K. Jee, AGA CORAM: JUSTICE KRISHNA SHRIPAD DIXIT Order No. 02. ORDER 13.02.2026 In Complainant’s W.P.(C) No.23617 of 2025 disposed off vide order dated 15.09.2025, this Court had said as under: “In the above circumstances, petition is disposed off. Time for consideration and informing the petitioner result of such consideration is six weeks. All contentions are kept open. It is open to solicit any information or document from the side of the petitioner, as are required for due consideration of the subject representation; however, in that guise delay shall not be brooked. Delay if brooked shall be viewed seriously.” 2. After service of police notice, the Contemnor has entered appearance through learned AGA, who has filed compliance affidavit sworn to by Contemnor No.4, who happens to be D.E.O. Along with the affidavit a copy of the Office Order No.1326 dated 11.02.2026 has been enclosed as Annexure-4, whereby Complainant’s representation has met consideration in terms of p. 2 the writ. Of course that order is arguably adverse to the interest of the Complainant and therefore, proceedings have to be dropped reserving liberty to the Complainant to assail the said order, if he so desires. In that connection, all contentions are kept open. Ordered accordingly and Contempt Proceedings are dropped. (Krishna Shripad Dixit) Judge Anisha Designation: Jr. Stenographer
