1. Present writ petition has been filed for the following reliefs:-
“(a) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari; cancelling the renewal of lease vide GO dated 02.01.2024 (Annexure No.8), which has been extended and reallotted, for a further period of three years i.e. from 01.04.2023 to 31.03.2026, in favour of Shri Amardeep Singh Ranawat (respondent no.5) with the able connivance and assistance of the Ld. District Magistrate, Haridwar (respondent no.3), alongwith the District Mining Officer, Haridwar (respondent no.4); and to hold, that all such actions made behind the back of the petitioners, are fraud committed by the respondent no.5, with the able connivance and assistance of respondent nos.3 and 4 respectively; (b) Issue a writ, order or direction, in the nature of mandamus; directing the Respondent Nos.3 and 4, that pursuant to the cancellation of the G.O. dated 02.01.2024

(Annexure No.8); to either reallot the mining lease for a further period of three years from 01.04.2023 to 31.03.2026; in the name of the majority shareholders of
“Amardeep Singh Associates”; or in the alternative; to settle all the investments made by the Majority shareholders/present petitioners; to the tune of Rs.2.25 Crores and Rs.84,83,310/-; with interest, costs and compensation; on account of the fraudulent acts of Shri Amardeep Singh Ranawat (respondent no.5), with the able connivance and assistance of the Ld. District Magistrate, Haridwar (respondent no.3), alongwith the District Mining Officer, Haridwar (respondent no.4); all actions made behind the back of the present petitioners/majority shareholders of “Amardeep Singh Associates”. 2. Shri P.R. Mullick, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, after making brief submissions, prays for withdrawal of the writ petition with liberty to the petitioners to make representation before the District Magistrate. 3. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of as not pressed with liberty in terms of the prayer made. 4. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed of.
