(2) By means of this writ petition, petitioner has sought the following reliefs: “(i) Issue a Writ, Order, or Direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding the Respondent No. 3 (Additional Commissioner, Garhwal Division) and Respondent No. 5 (Tehsildar, Vikasnagar) to conclude the inquiry and pass a final order on the Petitioner’s representation dated 22.07.2023 (Annexure No. 3, Page No. 15) regarding the entry of the New Khasra Number for Old Khasra No. 572 Min (Area 0.4820 Hectare) of Village Jhajhra, strictly in compliance with the letter dated 25.07.2023 (Annexure No. 1, Page No. 9), within a stipulated time frame as fixed by this Hon’ble Court. (ii) Issue Writ, Order, or Direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding the Respondent No. 3 (Additional Commissioner, Garhwal Division) and Respondent No. 5 (Tehsildar, Vikasnagar) to expeditiously decide and conclude the pending proceedings regarding the entry of the New Khasra Number for Old Khasra No. 572 Min (Area 0.4820 Hectare) of Village Jhajhra, within a stipulated time frame as fixed by this Hon’ble Court.” (3) Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has made a representation to Commissioner/Chairman, UKHC010120942026 2026:UHC:6116 Land Fraud Committee, which is on record as Annexure-3. He prays that the Commissioner be directed to take decision on the representation. (4) Writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of with a direction to Commissioner to take decision on petitioner’s representation, if already not taken, within eight weeks from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order.
