By filing this writ petition, the petitioner has put to challenge the suspension order dated 01.12.2025, issued by the Director, Elementary Education, Assam, whereby the petitioner was placed under suspension on account of his arrest on 01.11.2024 in connection with Police Case No. 306/2024 registered under Sections 85/64(1)/3(5) of BNS. Ms. S. Chutia, learned Standing Counsel, Elementary Education Department, by placing the order dated 06.06.2026, passed by the Director of Elementary Education, Assam, submits that the petitioner has since been reinstated in service and allowed to resume duties in his original post with immediate effect. In view of above, no further adjudication is required to be made in this proceeding. Accordingly, writ petition stands closed as infructuous.
