1. The present CRMP is an office reference initiated on request letter dated 25- 11-2025 sent by 14th Civil Judge, Junior Division Raipur, District Raipur for extension of time to conclude the proceeding of Criminal Case No.5967/2019 (State of C.G. Vs. Virendra Singh Tomar and others).
2. Pursuant to the order dated 09-12-2025, the concerned presiding officer submitted her explanation dated 19-12-2025 in which she explains that the record of the case consists of multiple documents maintained in four separate Digitally signed by MOHAMMED AADIL KHAN Date: 2026.01.08 19:46:53 +0530
2 parts and due to an inadvertence, administrative lapse, the extension request was placed in another part of the case file and could not be traced immediately which came to her notice only upon detailed re-verification of the entire records and thereafter, extension letter was promptly forwarded.
3. The explanation submitted by the concerned presiding officer is accordingly accepted.
4. By the request letter dated 25-11-2025 further time has been sought for conclusion of the Criminal Case No.5967/2019 (State of C.G. Vs. Virendra Singh Tomar and others). It also transpires that vide order dated 03-10-2024 passed in CRMP No.2674/2024 six months’ time to conclude the trial of the said criminal case was granted to the learned trial Court and thereafter, vide
order dated 30-04-2025 passed in CRMP No.1473/2025 further three months’ time was extended to conclude the trial of the Criminal Case No.5967/2019, however, the trial of the said criminal case could not be concluded and again a request letter has been sent on 25-11-2025 for extension of time.
5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, further three months’ time from today and not more is granted to the learned trial Court as a last indulgence to conclude the trial of Criminal Case No.5967/2019 pending before it.
6. With the aforesaid extension of time, the present CRMP is disposed of. Sd/-
