Also heard Mr. P S Lahkar, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State of Assam. 2. This is an application under Section 482 of the BNSS, 2023 in respect of Matia P.S. Case No.52/2026. 3. The petitioner Abdul Awal is an accused of keeping PDS rice illegally in his house. Huge quantity of rice was recovered from his possession. Page No.# 2/2 4. Mr. Lahkar has submitted that the petitioner has been doing business of PDS rice for a long time. 5. Having considered the submissions made by the learned counsel of both sides, this Court is of the opinion that allowing the Anticipatory Bail Application of the petitioner might hamper further investigation of the case. Therefore, this application is found to be devoid of merit and stands dismissed accordingly. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
