The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking direction to respondents to release payment including security with respect to work carried out by it for the respondent along with interest @ 18% per annum. 2. Learned State counsel submits that admitted liability would be discharged within three months from today. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that respondent may be subjected to interest @ 6% per annum from the date of passing bills. 4. In the wake of statement of both sides, the petition stands disposed of with a direction to respondent to release payment to the petitioner within three months from today along with interest @ 6% per annum from the date of passing bills.
