The grievance of the petitioner is directed against inaction of the WBSEDCL in providing a separate electricity connection to the petitioner. 2. On behalf of the WBSEDCL it is submitted that they are ready and willing to provide such electricity connection upon compliance with all statutory formalities and payment of necessary fees. 3. On behalf of the private respondent, it is submitted that there is a pending Civil Suit between the petitioner and the private respondent. 4. In such circumstances, WPA 6858 of 2026 stands allowed by directing the WBSEDCL to provide 2 electricity connection to the petitioner after compliance with all statutory formalities and payment of necessary fees. 5. Liberty is granted to the WBSEDCL to obtain police assistance if the circumstances so warrant. The payment of any police assistance would be borne expeditiously by the petitioner. 6. The above exercise is to be completed preferably within eight weeks from the date of passing of this order. (Ravi Krishan Kapur, J.)
